Camping at
Bailey's
Clean air and dark nighttime skies has made Bailey's Campground a favorite
family destination for generations. Our facility provides a unique, quite,
rustic-style camping experience.
Our sixty-acre mountain top environment contains a unique blend of cool
forest and rich meadow, which has changed little since our family homesteaded
the valley over a century ago.

Welcome to Palomar
Un-Plugged!
We pride ourselves on the relaxed, low-key atmosphere of our place. And
because of the incredible acoustic qualities of our valley, we ask that All
Electronic Music Be Left At Home
so that everyone will enjoy the beauty and serenity of our special
environment!
Of course, guitars around the campfire are always welcome - but we do ask
that you keep the volume low after 9:00 PM.

We're Fishing for Campers
GOOD NEWS! Over the winter, our pond has
recovered from the four year drought, and we've re-stocked it for the upcoming
camping season.
Baileys Pond has year-round breeding populations of Perch,
Bluegill, Catfish and
Bass, plus a host of other aquatic
critters.
From the youngster with worm-on-hook to the seasoned fly fisherman, everyone
is a winner. Our private pond requires no fishing license, but we do ask
that you please practice Catch-and-Release
Only!
Kids will
enjoy our "pond biology" as they watch fish cruise the water's edge
among dragonflies, monster tadpoles and bull frogs.
For those of you after Trout and
other game fish for the
frying pan, try Doane's Pond in nearby Palomar
State Park,
just 10 minutes away.
And You Have Arrived!
Here's an online tour of our campground. Please take a moment to
scroll down and enjoy some "campsite moments" here at Bailey's. (Please click on
