Bailey's Vacation Cottages
Our cottages are located within our century old, private and gated 60 acre heritage resort high atop Palomar Mountain. Bailey’s spans cool forests and rich meadows, our antique apple orchard, fishing pond, and much more. This historic family resort was founded in 1888 by Theodore O. Bailey, and remains the original township of Palomar Mountain.

Each of our cottages is wonderfully appointed with fresh linens, full kitchen and cook ware, table settings, spacious bathroom, fireplace, outdoor dining area and propane BBQ. Complementary fuel and firewood are provided. Every cottage is specially decorated to reflect the ambiance of our century and a quarter here on Palomar Mountain.

Bailey's Luxury Camping
Unmatched in Southern California, and world class in every respect, each Luxury Campsite has a unique look, feel and flavor.

With ample parking and privacy all our Luxury-Campsites are located in large open areas on the periphery of our 60 acre resort property. Each has a furnished bedroom, outdoor kitchen with cookware and table settings, propane BBQ, screened patio tent, fire ring, tables & chairs, games, and much more. Complementary fuel and firewood are provided at each site.

(+) PLUS you may bring your own tents for additional members of your expedition. Prices for additional persons are listed below.

Destination Weddings & Retreats at Bailey’s
Bailey’s Resort is family owned and operated. We have been hosting full service destination weddings and retreats here for decades, and we provide you with the type of personal attention and commitment you would expect from a family with over a century of hospitality on Palomar Mountain.

Our Four-day Destination Wedding and retreat packages are competitively priced and based on the accommodations you require and the number of persons attending your event.

We host retreats year round, and our Wedding Season extends from June – October each year.
You may reserve our entire facility up to two years in advance with a refundable deposit of just $750.*

Historic Bailey House - Established 1888
As our ancestral homestead (and formerly Palomar Hotel) Bailey House is now a wonderfully modern and well appointed seven-bedroom private vacation home. Bailey House still retains the charming look and feel from the golden age of our destination resort in the 1920s.

Bailey House stands as the center piece of our 60 acre resort, overlooking our lower meadow, wedding site, heritage apple orchard, fishing pond and more. Along with our historic Dance Hall and adjacent Carriage House club house, Bailey House makes a wonderful venue for retreats, weddings, and groups of friends.

Historic Bailey House - Two story Seven Bedrooms – sleeps 14 persons
Four Days & Three Nights - $1995.
You may reserve Bailey House up to two years in advance with a refundable deposit of just $500.
