For decades we've hosted Destination Weddings in our valley high atop Palomar Mountain – including many of our own!  

With our family’s century old sixty acre resort as your authentic backdrop, you will find Baileys among the most unique and wonderful wedding venues in Southern California.

Whether your wedding is traditional, themed or whimsically spontaneous we are happy to support your vision of that special day in our relaxed, quiet mountain top environment.

A Century of Tradition
We have been in continuous operation here on Palomar Mountain for 125 years, and our family homestead was the Township of Palomar Mountain for the first half of the last century.

Walnut Grove in our lower meadow is a marvelous choice for your outdoor ceremony, and our historic Dance Hall / Soda Fountain area makes for an outstanding reception hall!  

Accommodations here at Baileys includes historic Bailey House (formally Palomar Hotel), our lovingly restored heritage Cottages, our Luxury and Traditional Campsites - and all these are available to you, your family and friends from Thursday through Sunday.

Coming Together with Family and Friends

We set aside a full four-day weekend especially for you and yours. This gives you exclusive use of our facility within an environment that is all about your celebration, allowing you to arrive, settles in - getting reacquainted and making new friends - while preparing for your wedding in a style that bespeaks a simpler, more elegant time.

Creating a Day to Long Remember

Every wedding at Baileys is a truly unique and a marvelous experience – a ceremony and celebration of family and friends that last a lifetime.   And planning your special day is an equally unique experience – as well as a lot of fun!   We work closely with our bridal couples and their families, and we are always glad to share information, many references, hints and tips that we have collected in a detailed and well organized Bridal Notebook.  

We are happy to chat with you by phone or email, and to meet with you here by appointment to tour our place and talk further about your Destination Wedding here at Baileys.

There is a lot to consider in choosing a wedding venue – and there are certainly many great places to choose from - so with that in mind, we’d like close with a note from a recent bridal couple.   We were honored to host Janet & Tom here – as well as so many other wonderful families that have chosen to celebrate their special day here at Baileys.

Dear Brad & Terri,

Well, this note is long overdue but THANK YOU SO MUCH for making our wedding absolutely everything we imagined.  We are so grateful to have found your place and honored that we could get married in such a special and timeless location.

We had such a wonderful weekend up there - and all of our family and friends did as well.  We will never forget how awesome it all was! Many, many, many thanks!!
