Applewood Cottage

Wonderfully quaint and cozy, Applewood cottage is perched on the edge of deep, old growth forest over-ooking miles of undisturbed
virgin wilderness.

This truly charming studio Loft A-frame is perfect for that quiet weekend in a remote cottage in the woods! Set slightly above the cottage is a private outdoor campfire surround, exclusively for our Applewood cottage guests.

From that vantage point, the deep-forest view includes a glimpse of big Palomar telescope domes far across the mountain divide – and the deep-sky view of mag-nificent heavens far across the celestial divide.

Indoors, you’ll find this newly remodeled, heritage abode, has a double bed in the open A-frame loft. In the living space directly below the loft there is a cozy couch / futon bed combo - opposite a quaint isinglass wood burning stove (firewood included) – plus a propane  wall heater for those winter evenings.  The back deck has seating for two and a hundred foot cedar tree grows right through it!

Applewood comes with all the usual amenities you expect at Baileys, including a full kitchen and a large bathroom and shower with plenty of elbow room. There is a TV-DVD player, stereo, books, game, and more. Out front is a table, chairs and propane BBQ.

And for that total getaway experience, there is also no phone ~ TV or cell reception for that matter ~ but we do have free WiFi (limited & as available).

Pricing for the cottage is based on the number of persons in your group and the duration of your stay.
